How to recognize: Celestine is often confused with baryte or other sulfate minerals, but it has lesser density than baryte.

Found: Celestine was found in Madagaskar, Italy, England, Russia, Tunis, Giershagen (Germany) and in USA.

Used for: Celestine is used in the nuclear, glass and ceramics industry. It is an important ore of strontium.
