Info: Botryogen is often found in grain or masive agregates, very rare are short, colum-like red crystals. Botryogen is created in places with dry weather where pyrite dissolves.

Found: Botryogen was found in Felun (Sweden) in Chille, in Rammelsberg on Hars (Germany), and in Knoxville (California, USA).
